Online training is increasingly popular, as it allows flexibility of timing and (usually) a reduced time commitment for trainees.
E-Learning is learning which is conducted via electronic media, typically on the Internet. Successful E-Learning depends on self-motivation of individuals to study effectively.
E-Learning courses allow students to accommodate their needs via a flexible program. Participants can “attend” their class whenever they want throughout the day as E-courses are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week as long as they have access to the Internet. IT literacy can also act as a significant barrier for participants attempting to get access to the course materials, when technical support is not available for Blended learning.
ETS Sole E-Learning programs are not intended for Certification for workers that perform work. Also, ETS post-training supplemental instruction programs are required to be blended, therefore not designed as a Sole E-Learning program. Electronic verification by a Competent or Qualified Person for ETS programs are available.
