En-Safe Training Solutions Ltd.

En-Safe Training Solutions Ltd. (ETS) MISSION STATEMENT: Putting people first by offering Business solution options to suit any safety or HR budget, logistical, or resource restrictions.

ETS was founded in 2015, and acquired En-Safe Safety Training and Consulting Services En-Safe (1992), with more than 3,000 Clients served. Utilizing the expertise and Intellectual Property of more than 25 years experience, ETS has expanded into 4 divisions, providing more options for business solutions, primarily specializing in safety and human resources.

En-Safe (1992)

En-Safe (1992) has had a reputation of delivering a higher level of facilitated safety training than the industry standard since 1992. SafetyABC was formed in 2004, supplementing En-Safe (1992)’s training, because “Certificate Safety Training” was based primarily on performance-based legislation without legislative guidelines or standards to follow.

En-Safe (1992) will continue to specialize in facilitated safety training, primarily for workers performing work that puts them at higher risk. The training can be tailored and/or customized and is not transferable from Employer to Employer, and is typically of longer duration than the industry standard. Our philosophy is that it is better to train fewer better than to train many to a lower standard. The primary trainer has been and will continue to be R. Craig Doran, P.Eng. Craig was the founder and President of En-Safe, and has more than 25 year’s full-time experience as a safety trainer and has personally trained more than 2,000 organizations since 1992.

SafetyABC is now a division of ETS providing safety awareness training, post-training application instruction, information awareness, and OHS consulting solutions. For example, one course offered is Working at Heights (WAH) training in Ontario. The new, MOL-approved, WAH training for Construction Projects is under the SafetyABC division, not En-Safe (1992). The certificate training is transferable from employer to employer, certification is issued by the MOL, not the training provider, and is intended only to be an awareness course, not to be tailored or customized. It is also typically shorter in duration than an En-Safe (1992) course. However, in addition to the MOL-approved course, participants require post-training application instruction. Also, for workers who may be exposed to height hazards or potential dangers, but do not perform a task requiring the use of fall protection PPE on a construction project, information awareness may be an adequate business solution alternative to the MOL-approved course. The above is an example of safety awareness training, post-training application instruction, and information awareness. Clients in the industrial or mining sector can receive an En-Safe (1992) WAH course, and we strongly recommend this.

For an effective business solution and due diligence, more than one level of training may be more logistically feasible. There is a typical hierarchy of learning and various levels of delivery. With an adequate training-gap analysis, various business solution options can be designed to suit any safety or HR budget, logistical, or resource restrictions, and yet still put your people first.

En-Safe Business E-Learning:

Based on an adequate training-gap analysis, blended and sole E-Learning may be an alternative business solution supplement. From our wealth of experience, E-Learning is often misused and/or not effective. For example, Sole E-Learning is not intended for Certification for workers that perform work, and  IT literacy can serve as a significant barrier for participants attempting to get access to the course materials, when technical support is not available for Blended learning. To expand in this delivery method, En-Safe Business E-Learning Solutions decided to have a strategic alliance with an organization with a proven product and build on their experience and expertise with our knowledge and experience, as experts in the subject material. We decided to use our time and resources to build from standardized programs and a reliable Learning Management System (LMS), with an E-Learning organization established in 1990, that operates worldwide. We will offer 3 levels of E-Learning training: standardized, tailored, and customized. What differentiates these levels and us from our competition is the tailored training design! The design will be overseen by a professional in safety or HR, with at least 25 years of experience.
